Default Color Selector tool?

Being new to GW and still full of bright ideas and ambition I was wondering if there was some sort of application that would let you see what various colors would look like on various armors. I was reading all about mixing colors and thought it would be handy if you could have some sort of program, similar, to the character creation, where you could select gender and armor and then either apply/mix colors to it or tell it what color you want to end with and it gives you the formula.

The point would be that you could figure out that ???just right??? color formulation for a specific armor and then go buy/barter the colors you need to make it in game???.

well, here's a link to the dye mixing charts
for what I've seen, ritualist armors show colors the best, dye them red and you get red, as where if you dyed the monks upgraded armor from presearing, it's more of a pink

Well then, oh ambitious and bright-eyed one... we'll expect you to get on that right away. I hope you make the GUI easy to use!

Seen that stuff. but I'd like to have a program that would let me play a bit to see what it would look like on MY guy. But that link is an excellent source of info none the less...

Yeah I'll let you know how that works out.

Where is that darn It-makes-programs-based-off-my-thoughts machine. Shouldn't take anytime at all...

I think the OP is talking about something like the guild emblemer. When you are designing a cape you can see your cape with the chosen emblem and color before you buy your cape. Why can't this be done for armor? Just think what it would be like if you had to pay for your cape each time you wanted to see what it would look like each time you changed the colors or chose a different emblem.

You have completely missed the point. My request is not for a coloer in-game. It would be so that you could arrange your 'outfit' out of game and then go: Okay I need 5 silvers 3 reds and 2 blues and then go out and buy/trade those colors and mix them and apply them. Alls I'm asking is for the ability to remove the guess work so that oyu don't waste 30k only to find out the color shifts blue instead of red on armor "x"

Oh I know what your point was. What you missed was that I wasn't replying to you.
